Review of Virtual Chicks

I have seen Virtual Chicks heavily advertised on Google, and wondered if it was another BS site, so I joined and have a report. Well, it rocks, but don’t get the trial. It only costs a buck, but guess what, you don’t get access to shit, so you have to upgrade to a full membership at $34.88, which is fucking expensive. Get the $24.95 membership to avoid getting hosed. I would have been royally pissed had the site not been so good.

When you get to the members area you realize it is pretty much a DVD download site. You can select from a bunch of different categories, so of course I chose the POV category first, and I got a page that showed a bunch of DVD covers for their point of view DVD’s. There were 63 of them, so at about 4 scenes per DVD that gives you about 250 scenes. Sweet. The only downside is that if you have seen a lot of these movies before, like I have, a lot of it is repeats. There isn’t really any original stuff that they made themselves, just scenes from porn DVD’s.

The video quality was very good. I always want the highest I can get, and in this case, some scenes had Xvid at 1100k as the highest, which looked pretty good at full screen on my 19 inch monitor, but kinda blurry. But it seemed about half the scenes had WMV at 2500k as the highest resolution. And that looked awesome at full screen. They also have some lower res options like Mpeg at 700k, and WMV at something like 600k and 350k. So pretty good setup.

All the movies could be streamed or downloaded in full length. However, there was no way to only download a piece of a scene, you have to download the whole thing.

You also get a ton of videos from other niches. The list of categories says there are 1465 DVD’s total, which seems possible. So the amount of content is huge and covers all sorts of variety. Overall, a big site with high quality video and over 200 point of view videos, so a great site for sure, just avoid the trial membership.
